The Talented TENTH (TTP) is an internship program that provides professional development, career exploration and assistance with college enrollment, during the academic school year. Interns who perform well throughout the program could be eligible for paid summer employment.
TTP is proud to partner with St. Clair County schools, area businesses and the community. It’s our goal to provide learning and earning opportunities to students who are willing to give back as the next generation of possibility thinkers. |  |

The Dream Camp has been designed to lift the spirits of children, to awaken hope and a sense of adventure. All children will end the program with new tools to help make their dreams a reality. The Day Camp runs four to five weeks at two locations on the South Side. The youth enjoy breakfast, lunch, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, and library time. Field trips are a camp highlight. The Camp is staffed by the adult SONS staff as well as foster grandparents, college and high school students. |  |

| Offered in conjunction with Golf Country where golf is used as the creative method to communicate Christian values. Participants learn about golf and practice life attributes such as patience, discipline, and etiquette. Lessons are held daily for a week and those with perfect attendance are rewarded with a set of golf clubs, bag, golf shirt, and a hat. |  |

Designed for teen girls. The focus is to develop and nurture the inner beauty of these young ladies as they work on character building traits such as gentleness, purity, modesty, and forgiveness.  |  |

| Designed for middle and high school boys. Their times together consist of recreation, food, and discussion on the principles of what it means to be a “real man”. Core principals are: reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect the greater reward. Special events are planned throughout the year to hang out and have fun. |  |

Using the arts as a means to disciple youth in their spiritual walk, they meet weekly to develop their music, dance, puppet, steppin’, and drama skills while at the same time being challenged to present their bodies to the Lord, wholly and acceptable to God. They give presentations in the community throughout the year. |  |

| SONS Staff minister to youth in the Juvenile Detention Center and Day Treatment Center. They challenge youth in areas such as decision making, character development, and conflict resolution. The ultimate goal is to help them fulfill their destiny and purpose in life. |  |
